Brooklyn is a town in Clay Township, Morgan County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. Brooklyn was laid out in 1854, at about the time the railroad was extended to that point. The town probably took its name after Brooklyn, New York. A post office has been in operation at Brooklyn since 1856. The Franklin Landers-Black and Adams Farm was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
